GPC Acquires Divide Block
Today, Great Peninsula Conservancy (GPC) announced the completion of the Kitsap Forest & Bay Project Goals.
Historically this 467-acre tree farm, called the Divide Block, was part of Pope Resources’ (now Rayonier), and GPC's closing on this forest land represents the final piece of Pope Resources’ commitment to community land conservation. Over 5,000 acres of former Pope Resources land are now owned by Kitsap County and Great Peninsula Conversancy.
